Karri Louko will start as Koskisen’s Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Executive Board on 1 March 2022. Karri joins Koskisen from Teknoware, where he has served as CFO since 2015.
Koskisen’s current CFO, Harri Pelkonen, will retire on 30 September of this year. Over the next six months, Harri will guide Karri in the duties of CFO of Koskisen.
“I will take this opportunity to thank Harri now for his good work and for allowing a nice period of transition for Karri,” says CEO Jukka Pahta.
Karri graduated from Tampere University in 1995 with a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration. In addition to Teknoware, he also previously worked as an auditor at KPMG, internal auditor at Hewlett-Packard, and at Metso Group in a number of specialist and managerial positions, including leading global financial administration development projects.
“I am really looking forward to working with the team at Koskisen. I value the company’s long history, coupled with its desire to develop its operations and new environmentally friendly solutions for customers. In the Koskisen employees I have met so far, I have also seen a healthy amount of professional pride in their skills and products. It is quite rare and wonderful to have the opportunity to get to know the Koskisen Group and my future duties together with Harri this spring and summer,” says Louko.
“Karri’s extensive background and expertise are a great fit for Koskisen. As a member of the Executive Board, he will play an important role in achieving our strategic goals, and as CFO, in further developing our financial management organization and processes,” says CEO Jukka Pahta.
